Katherine Trier, MD

Is a board-certified pediatrician who grew up in Massachusetts. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College, with a dual major in Psychology and Spanish. Katherine attended Case Western Reserve University for Medical School and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. While here, she also served in the role of Adjunct Professor in the School of Social Work while implementing a program to address the needs of members of the underserved Latino community in Pittsburgh.

After residency, Katherine returned to Boston to pursue a fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital. She has recently joined our team in dual capacity, as both a General Pediatrician and a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician.

Dr. Trier loves working with children of all ages and continues to be amazed by how much she learns from her patients on a daily basis.

She has particular interest in sleep disorders, complex grief and trauma, ADHD, learning disorders and genetic disorders. Dr. Trier has received training through the Brazelton Touchpoints Center and completed a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) fellowship. Besides spending time with her husband and 4 young children, she enjoys hiking, swimming, playing the French horn and knitting.
