FLU AND COVID VACCINE CLINICS

We want to make sure that you have a healthy Fall and Winter and will be offering Flu and COVID vaccine clinics. They will be on Wednesdays in October. They will be: Wednesday October 2nd from 10 am - 12 pm and 3 pm - 6 pm Wednesday October 9th from 10 am - 12 pm and 3 pm - 6 pm Wednesday October 16th from 10 am - 12 pm and 3 pm - 6 pm Wednesday October 23rd from 10 am - 12 pm and 3 pm - 6 pm Wednesday October 30th from 10 am - 12 pm and 3 pm - 6 pm You will also be able to receive the vaccines at your Well Visits. You can schedule the FLU vaccine yourself on the Patient Gateway: Go to Visits…Schedule an appointment…Child and Adolescent Health Specialists…Flu Shot Pick your time. You can also add the COVID vaccine yourself when signing up for the Flu Clinic! You can do this on your computer (not cell phone). Add comment "COVID" to the field "What is the most important thing you want addressed during this visit?". Please call the office if you would like to add the COVID vaccine and are unable to do this on your computer. These are safe to be given together. We will be using the Moderna Covid Vaccines for ages 6 months to 18 years old. For those that are 6 months - 4 years: 2 doses are needed, 1 month apart (unless they have received Moderna vaccine in the past) For those that are 5 years - 18 Years: 1 Dose is required We wanted to also remind you that this COVID vaccine is the updated 2024-2025 Moderna COVID vaccine. These vaccines are updated every year to better match the most current and widely circulating virus strains. This vaccine helps to improve your immunity and gives a better protection of getting sick.
